Capacity Building

Access Alliance works to build the capacity of staff, community, sector workers and others to help them inform positive social change in their communities. We do so through events, training opportunities, knowledge sharing, and the dissemination of guides, manuals and other tools.

We also seek to build critical research capacity and opportunities for groups who tend to be under-represented in research and policy making. We do so by promoting community-based research (CBR) capacity geared at making the research field more inclusive and equitable, and by hosting mentored research fellowships and practicums.
