Among Friends (2SLGBTQI+) Programs

We take pride in offering programs and services for Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and intersex (2SLGBTQI+) newcomers. We recognize that 2SLGBTQI+ people who are new to Canada face particular challenges including language barriers, lack of information about systems/services, social isolation, poverty, and barriers to employment. They also face discrimination as a result of their sexual orientation and gender identity.

2SLGBTQI+ newcomers who are interested in attending our in-person programming or receiving one-on-one support can register with our Among Friends Program can book an intake appointment with our 2SLGBTQI+ Community Health Worker by calling 416-693-8677 or emailing amongfriends@accessalliance.ca. Interpretation services are available for all appointments.

Anyone in need can access our online sessions twice a month on Wednesday without being a registered client. If you would like to receive information and updates about our programming, including our online sessions and special events, you can sign up for our mailing list here: http://eepurl.com/iDAIq2
