Community Dining Programs

The Community Dining Programs at Access Alliance are part of a continuous emergency food access initiative that offers a free weekly home-cooked, healthy and nutritious meal to community members facing food insecurity. They are held at our east and west locations and are available to all clients who are in need, on a first-come, first-served basis.

AccessPoint on Danforth

Championed by a team of Access Alliance staff and community volunteers, over 150 meals are served free every week in a dignified, dine-in space where community members can eat a nourishing meal, socially connect, and learn about programs and services offered through Access Alliance and partner agencies. Please note, at this time meals at AccessPoint on Danforth are served on a take-out basis.

AccessPoint on Jane

Our year-round Soup-er Club brings nature’s bounty to our tables for anyone seeking to eat nourishing food alongside community. Every Friday, community members are invited to drop-in for our weekly free community dining program to cook together, eat together, and to take home servings of soup. Recipes feature seasonal ingredients with global flavours, representing both local and international connections with food. Please note, at this time meals at AccessPoint on Jane are served on a take-out basis.

This program is supported by donations and funding from Daily Bread Food Bank.
