Seniors Programs

Newcomer seniors are vibrant members of our communities who participate in many of our programs and activities. We offer fun, safe and relaxing programs to specifically meet the needs of immigrant and refugee seniors, especially those who are new to Canada.

We operate Seniors Active Living Centres (SALC) at our east-end Danforth and west-end Jane sites. . At both locations, we offer health promotion workshops, snack/meal programs, recreational activities (Tea n’ Chat, bingo, arts, digital literacy, and more) as well as physical activities including yoga, gentle fitness and cardio classes for newcomers, immigrants and refugees. In addition, we refer seniors to appropriate organizations or resources according to their service needs.

For more information about seniors programs, please see our program calendar, contact us by email, or call us at 416-324-8677.
