An event every week that begins at 5:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until December 17, 2020
The LGBTQ+ Newcomer Program welcomes LGBTQ+ Newcomers to learn about different things. Each week is a different workshop that focuses on the topics of health navigation, sexual health, mental health, systems navigation, recreational activities, settlement, etc. The LGBTQ+ Newcomer Program is a safe space for LGBTQ+ Newcomers and Refugees who are in the Greater Toronto Area. After attending and participating in three (3) sessions of the LGBTQ+ Newcomer, clients can request a support letter from Access Alliance on their Refugee Claim based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.
