Heart Healthy Nutrition Education Sessions
Over the course of seven weeks, a registered dietitian will teach you the latest recommendations about what to eat to keep your heart healthy. Through group conversation and workbook activities, we will explore three scientifically-proven diets: The Mediterranean Diet, DASH Diet (Dietary Approaches to Stopping Hypertension), and The Portfolio Diet (for cholesterol) to improve our heart health. By program end, we will better understand the connections between the food we eat and how to keep cholesterol and blood pressure in check.
