Brief Description of Practicum Project:
Under the supervision of the Resource Development manager, the student will be working on projects related to improving CRM database, donor stewardship, and fundraising initiatives of various formats and scales.
Learning Outcomes/Goals:
- Assist with the research work of development projects, including compiling resources and contact lists, conducting environmental scan, and prospect research.
- Assist with the administrative work of the Resource Development, including data updating, cleansing, and data migration/integration.
- Work with Communications Staff and the agency leadership to implement engagement plans with donors and other constituents.
Qualifications/Competencies Required:
- Completing/completed a University/College diploma in Business Administration, Database Administration, Marketing, Market Research, or related fields.
- Skilled with MS Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with or willingness to learn about a Constituent Relations Management (CRM) System.
- Good writing and speaking skills in English.
- Attention to detail is a must.
