Short Description: Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services (AAMHCS) is a Community Health Centre that aims to provide services and addresses system inequities to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable immigrants, refugees, and their communities. The Centre envisions a future in which Toronto’s diverse communities achieve health with dignity. Working closely with staff, the Cook will ensure that the kitchen, equipment and inventory are accessible and available in addition to maintaining appropriate health and safety measures. This role will be responsible for the preparation of nutritious meals for our congregate dining programs with the support of community volunteers and students. The successful candidate will possess strong skills and knowledge in cooking and nutrition, experience facilitating diverse groups, and a desire to use food as a way to build community. |
