Short Description: Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services (AAMHCS) is a Community Health Centre that is committed to and works to improve health outcomes for the most vulnerable immigrants, refugees, and their communities. We do this by facilitating access to services and addressing systemic inequities. The Centre envisions a future in which diverse individuals, families and communities can achieve health with dignity. Among Friends is a settlement program for 2SLGBTQI+ newcomers established at Access Alliance in 2005. It offers newcomers of marginalized genders a safe and supportive environment where they can connect to various essential services, build community and a sense of belonging, find pathways to housing and employment, and achieve success and well-being. The successful candidate will be based at our 761 Jane St. Site but due to Access Alliances multi-site locations, will work in all three locations. |
