20 years ago we created the first EA program for newcomers. The program continues today, with creative, responsive and culturally appropriate groups that address trauma through art while fostering healing and connection.

Health equity means improved health outcomes for our newcomer communities. We will continue to work to reduce barriers to good health and advocate for a system that is inclusive, accessible, and equitable for all.

This month we're hosting two fun Open House events: one at AccessPoint on Danforth Oct. 17, and one at AccessPoint on Jane  Oct. 24 (click a link to register.)

We come together today to recognize the profound and lasting impacts of the residential school system, which sought to erase the culture, identity, and language of Indigenous peoples.

We've recently conducted a community health needs & asset assessment (CHNA) and community profile report to understand the strengths, issues & changing needs of the Taylor-Massey Oakridge communities.

Info provided by over 400 community members & partners will help us improve health outcomes via more effective, targeted programs & services.
