Student Training Program

Every Fall and Winter terms, Access Alliance offers a training program for free to students from various disciplines who are interested in working with immigrants and refugees. Topics include:

  • Introduction to Community Health and Wellness
  • The role of research, planning and evaluation in promoting health equity
  • Anti-oppression as it informs health promotion practice

Students currently completing a field placement at any agency are welcome to register for any or all sessions. Students who successfully complete all three workshops will be mailed a certificate.

You must send your application by Monday March 5, 2018 space is limited.
