Neighbourhood Health
The projects and activities in this agenda examine geography/neighborhood as a determinant of health for newcomer and racialized groups. They investigate the causes and impact of the growing poverty and inadequacy of services in neighborhoods that have high concentrations of recent immigrants and racialized groups. The project focuses on developing neighborhood profiles, maps and other decision making tools that can be used for neighborhood-based planning and advocacy work.
Neighbourhood Profiles
Access Alliance has developed profiles of many neighbourhoods that we work in. We use indicators of the determinants of (newcomer) health at the neighbourhood level, to compile, analyze and share information with our community partners.
